Project Management

At opportunIT, each project is assigned a Project Manager. The Project Manager will ensure that each phase runs smoothly and keeps to the time and budget agreed at the outset.

A typical project begins with a Project Management meeting and involves all key personnel involved in the project from both opportunIT and your company. All aspects of the pending project are discussed in detail and respective responsibilities to all team members assigned.

Prior to this meeting, opportunIT will provide your company with project management questionnaires and documentation which forms the basis of the discussion. Below is a list of these
documents:

Technical Infrastructure Questionnaire

-  provides opportunIT with information pertaining to your company's current technical architecture.

Pre-Scoping document

-   provides your company with an understanding of the requirements to be met during and following the business workflow analysis.

Hardware/Software Pre-Requisites documentation

- provides your company's technical team with minimum hardware/software requirements and associated recommendations.

Project Report

-  throughout the lifetime of the project, your company would be provided with regular progress reports, the frequency of which is dependant on the nature and timeframe of the work being conducted.

Visit Reports

-  any work carried out on site by an opportunIT consultant is documented in full and forms the basis of a visit report.

User Acceptance Testing Scripts

-  prior to 'rolling out' the solution to all users, the pilot/development system would need to be tested in full.

Following this initial meeting, a definitive project plan including associated timescales would be drafted and agreed by both parties prior to the commencement of the work.
