Implementation
The Implementation phase will only begin once both parties are in full agreement that the Workflow Analysis report meets your organisation's objectives. The installation, configuration and set-up will be carried out by a fully qualified opportunIT consultant. We recommend that an assigned system administrator from your organisation works closely with opportunIT during this phase as this will provide them with a valuable insight into the product.
The following is carried out during the implementation phase:
GoldMine is installed onto an existing network
General Configuration
Fields, lookup lists, activity codes etc. are configured as per the Workflow Analysis report.
Goldmine / Sage CRM Users
Users and user groups are created and assigned appropriate access rights.
Workstation Configuration
Relevant settings of each workstation are checked. Links to other applications are installed if relevant, e.g. Word Link, Outlook Link.
Data Migration
It is often a requirement to import legacy data from previous systems. opportunIT has vast experience in importing data from many different product sources. We use in-built solution tools or powerful external data conversion tools to ensure that this vital process runs smoothly.
Laptop Configuration
If the decision has been made to deploy the solutioon on remote user's laptops, separate installations and configuration will be done on each one. The necessary synchronisation settings will then be configured on the individual laptops and the server.
Report Writing
While GoldMine and Sage CRM have standard reports which are part of the application, you may decide customised reports are more suitable. Our consultants can create these reports using either proprietary or Crystal Reports.
